Please read the following carefully to understand Lifestory’s practices regarding your personal data. By commissioning a Lifestory memoir you are accepting and consenting to the practices described in this policy.

 

Information I may collect from you includes, but is not limited to:

Your personal details and those of family & friends

Your contact information 

Recollections of your personal life

Photographic and other documentary information

 

What I do with the information:

Lifestory will retain a hard copy of your book; also a digital copy  of your approved manuscript for my records.

All material held by my printers will be deleted within 3 months of project completion.

I may seek your permission to show a copy of your memoir privately to a potential customer who wishes to see an example of my work.

Lifestory will transfer all interview recordings, transcripts of interviews, images, notes, emails etc relating to your project to external hard drive which will be held securely for 6 years from the date of project completion, after which it will be deleted. For safety, no material will be stored on computer or on-line after project completion.

I am committed to ensuring that your information is secure. To prevent unauthorised access or disclosure I have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information I collect/store.

Any changes I may make to this privacy policy will be posted on this page and, where appropriate, notified to you by e-mail. Please check back frequently to see any updates or changes to our privacy policy.
